VZ Factory Subwoofer

I want to add a subwoofer to my SSZ standard 6 disk Blaupunkt system. Do I need the original equipement factory unit or can I fit an aftermarker one. Is the wiring already there to do this so i can do it myself? Any dvice help would be appreciated.

Aaah, if only it was that simple!

Of course you can fit an aftermarket sub. You'll need an amplifier to run it and the wires aren't already there.

If you do that, you may as well change those crappy factory speakers for some good aftermarket ones run through an amp too. :thumbsup:

yeah there is a bunch of info in the audio section re this. Also on the factory stereo upgrade to get some RCA outs to run an amp or 2 from the stocko head unit
