Well decided I might enlighten everyone to my plans for the pansy mobile...

Goal is to build a low 10sec car that I can still drive to work everyday. might sound silly but im sure it could be done.

To start with
Cam
OTR
Full diphillipo twin 3 inch.
3.46 diff gears and trutrk and uni jointed tail shaft

that should get me a nice 11 sec pass

And if that wont make me happy change the cam and drop a 2300 blower onto her and go for the low 10 sec daily challenge.

Why waste money on Di Filippo?

You're in Perth, hit up Not_An_Abba_Fan for a manta system. Great sound, great performance, WAY less coin than Di Filippo.

Then you can spend the spare coin on more mods because you're going to need them for a 10sec pass.

3.46 gears might be a bit tall for the camshaft you would need to get the torque for a 10sec pass.

Good luck and keep the updates coming.

The 3.46 is maily to get it ready for the extra torque from the blower and just to help keep the revs down for daily duties

Still be a jerk to get off the line if your cam is big(ish).

I know with 233/233 cams they usually say 3.73 or higher gears in a manual, and that's not a big stick. Blower won't help taking off unless your plan is to straight light them up each time. :p

Though I guess if you are going blower, you could go a small/mild cam and get most of the gains from the blower.

Once the blower goes on the cam will get swapped to suit the blower.
