Vz ss climate control playing up

Hey all iv got a vz ss with electric climate control and it seems to be playing up

Fault : set on air vent to face before turning off engine, go to start it up once again the blower is set to front demister but on the display screen it's showing set to face. Once I begin to drive about the 25-30k mark the system realises it's not on demister and comes back through the vents

Has any one else had this fault?

It is a leak in the vacuum system that controls all the actuators that direct the airflow. My mechanic fixed it for me pretty cheap (this was ages ago tho) and no problems since!

I can't hear any sorta leak in the dash area

Havent had it on mine but apparently pretty common, few threads below on it - all seem to point to the vacuum solenoid or actuators
