hi I have just added pacemaker 4-1 headers to my vz ss.they are 1 7/8 pipes with 3.5 inch outlet.
im really happy with them and they sound awesome,my question is on the drivers side they seem very close to the steering rack boot has anyone had issues with the boots getting melted or can they handle the heat no problem.

cheers.

if you are concerned about the extra heat you could always use an exhaust wrap or other type of heat shield.

Di Filippo make a heat shield that bolts onto the steering rack bolts to cover the rack boot for a solid fix.
