VZ SS Tail Lights for VY

Does anyone know whether VZ SS Tail Lights will fit in a VY...Also how much would you expect to pay for a pair of VZ SS Tail Lights?

With a little modification yes they will, and you can expect to pay about $400.
The globe holders for the VY loom dont fit the tail light, so you could buy the VZ loom OR just save yourself a few bucks and modify it like I did. Also, I believe the passanger side tail light needs to have a lug cut off it so it will slot into the VY chassis.

But they DO fit:

I bought VZ SS taillights direct from GMH (paid a small fortune) and put them straight into my VY Series 2 'S' = no probs - no mods - 10 minute job..

Brentmac is your VY Series 1 or Series 2, as 'VYII S 2004' said his is a Series 2 and went in without any mods??

Yeah I don't think its a series 1 thing though because "vy_acclaim" in this thread here said he had similar problems and he has a series 2 acclaim...??

Who knows?

Either way, its not a difficult mod, I mean...they haven't fallen out!

Hey, i just bought a '04 VY series 2 exec and was wondering what i could use to replace my standard ones? Was also interested in maybe doing the headlights as well, do you know where i can find any? Thanks

To add a tasteful touch try using the VY2 Calais lights gorgeous tailights they are also tinted too, they go straight in without a problem.
