Hi Fu, understand that you can use the can to clean the contacts, but what do you use to prevent them tarnishing again? WD40? Inox MX3?
Just keep an eye on it.

Nyogel. It stops terminal fretting and the oxidization of that fretting. You could also use a lanolin or wax based battery terminal protectant SPARINGLY once reconnected.

Not a fan of the blue stuff TBH. TREBLEX make a good Battery Terminal Protectant IMO. It's a cheap brand but you can smell the lanolin in it and it isn't as hard setting as the blue stuff, though it does "set". And an Australian owned Co.

EDIT: Looks like they don't do the Battery Terminal Protector as such anymore. Looks like they just do the Lanolin aerosol now.
