VZ SS Ute tail lights in VU

Hey

Is it possible to fit the tail lights from a VY SS and the VZ Utes into my VU?

They are the same size and layout, but with clear lenses and they look so so so much nicer. I can get a pair for about $100, so is it just a straight swap?

If it's the same as a wagon you will need the later model tail light harness. Apart from that easy as.

Yes you can. Wagon and ute are the same, However you need to replace the tail light harness as said above. But that is only one plug. My Ute and Wagon both have VY tail lights on them. I searched EVERYWHERE for the black bordered SS tail lights but they are impossible to find.
