Hi I have a 2004 sv6 vz commodore 270ks now I'm worried because the misfire is still present and now when in drive or reverse with brakes on there is a clunck/rattle from the front of the car but only when brakes are on fully (car is stationary)
Any help appreciated

Any video of this noise happening?
Any engine codes?
All you have to do is create a YouTube video so we can hear the rattle... Note: Make it unlisted if you don't want it to be searchable on the internet

Hope not...
Have they been replaced before?
Any service history and have you maintained it properly?
But yes, make sure to upload the video tomorrow :)

I am tipping its Timing Chains at 270,000 k/s.

Unsure of replacement chains, but servicing every 5000ks, no check engine lights but have a misfire under light acceleration and sometimes idle, have new ignition coils on way

I can definitely hear that rattle... I guess you should invest in a scanner (such as a Bluetooth one on the phone) as that might read codes that don't show an engine light, as failing chains don't always throw an engine light on the dash... This will make sure you're not throwing the parts cannon at your car...

I do have a obd2 scanner Bluetooth one, and have scanned with no codes present on multiple apps
