I brought a VZ SV6 Auto 5 Spd 190 LY7 with paddle shifts
previous owner said it's been tuned on 98 but couldn't provide any receipts or dyno sheet ect, it has 3.9 Diff gears in the LSD was originally 2.87:1 diff gear's my videnti400 scan tool says estimated gear ratio 3.9, it has pacemaker extractors
twin hiflow cats
twin 2.25 exhaust
growler intake
4 o2 sensors 2 in the extractors and 2 in the cats
would the car need to of been tuned to be able to run with these mods cheers he also mentioned he runs it on 98 so it doesnt ruin the injectors? I've had other v6 commodore and only ran them on 91 and never had injectors issues ? Would him saying to not ruin the injectors and these mods indicate it would had to of been tuned ?

He is full of it.

These engines at the factory are tuned and runnings as good as it gets for what is in them and bolted to.

Old mate wasted a tonne of money and talked you into spending more because of it.
