It changes fine, done the adjustment on the kickdown cable. Done the nulon treatment.. Just think the filter may be blocked cause it only happens when starting first thing in the morning, the fluid isnt getting enough pressure to engage reverse. ill see if a new filter will do the trick. thanks for your thoughts.

If engines cold and you select R first thing it might take longer to go into gear depending on age of transmission...

going into D is easier as thats what transmissions used to ....

Try this... in morning let engine warm up ... with foot on break go SLOWLY go into every gear from P to 1 then back to R.

Do this from now on... and see if after filter service and nulon treatment if it gets better...
