Hi,about 3 days ago a warning light thats never come on before appeared. It is a engine with a lightning bolt thru it.The manual says transmission or electrical fault in drivetrain.Everything seems normal,i have a code reader on its way in the mail, just wondering if anyone else has had this problem before.Sorry forgot to mention it has a 5.7 V8 in it.Appreciate any clues or infact the real cause.Cheers

Happens occasionally, the only way to find out what the fault is to wait for your code reader. It could be any one of a hundred things, not something you can guess.

What sort of code reader have you purchased? You need a Tech2, or equivalent Clone, to read the codes from a car with an LSx engine.
