I had paint protection on the VX I had, and 10 years old the paint hadn't faded at all. It was bought through Holden but done applied through a local company they used.

I had a 02 VXII Calais (traded it 4 years ago) so 9 years old then , it had paint protection, and while I wouldn't pay for this myself, I have to admit the paint on that car looked very good, colour was Delft (blue). I was never sure if it was due to the paint protection or whether Calais may have had better paint applied at factory (maybe more clear coat)?

^^^ Try having two of them....both daily, both black....

Try having four - I have a Fiesta I use mainly to commute to work, my wife has a Forester, I also have a VE SS auto that I use on weekends and when we go away including caravan hauling. I also have my VX R8 Clubby manual, as everyone needs to drive a V8 manual on a Sunday. Also have the caravan and a box trailer (not that the box trailer gets washed haha).
