I wouldn't be worried about the compression ratio all you need is a tuner who know what they're doing and it will work in your favour
In saying this though I would be more worried about that cam as it would need a redline of atleast 7k to make most of the cam, and that would be stretching the friendship of the ecotec without some serious engine mods. That's if you want the engine to be reliable of course. I suppose it depends on your budget as well.
If you're after reliable big numbers then an area to focus on would be the oiling system, as in high hp application they've been know to spin bearings even if they've been doweled! I know of a ecotec that's making 390kw at the rears, spun cam bearings twice since it was first built 10000ks ago. But we'll get that problem sorted
You just have to be careful who you get to build your engine are they're aren't too many V6 specialists around who know how to build one reliably.
