Wednesday night Race 4 Real off-street meets continue to be one of the most popular events on the Sydney Dragway calendar and it’s quite easy to see why!
Here are some great performances from last week’s Race 4 Real at Sydney Dragway.
Top Holden of the Week
Off the mark with our Holden pick for the week is a very, very mean VE Ute from Russo Performance which put down a scorching 10.2 @ 133MPH.
Top Ford of the Week
Whatever work has been done to this FG FPV GT, the Plazmaman intercooler is a dead giveaway to the big boost this blue-ovalled beast is packing within. It laid down a very respectable 11.2 @121MPH
Top Japanese of the Week
This purple Godzilla had trekked out from its usual mountain habitat and stretched it legs down the quarter this week to score our notable Japanese performance with a 10.8 @ 131MPH with all four wheels spinning off the line!
Top Rotary of the Week
This week’s top rotary doesn’t go to a Mazda but this bright orange KE20 Toyota Corolla. Having a bit of an identity crisis as shown by the plates (Mazda/Corolla? Mazola!) this can of Frankenstein Fanta went for a 11.9 @ 114MPH.
Top Euro of the Week
Top Euro goes to this factory-fresh Mercedes-Benz AMG C63 coupe, which left a silver streak down the quarter at a best of 12.3 @ 115MPH.
Commentators Pick of the Week
This week’s Commentators Pick goes to this Holden Ute. With a respectable 14.1 @ 100MPH, what caught our eye this week was the awesome airbrushing across the side and rear of the ute depicting a mural of clowns as a homage to Stephen King’s It.
