Wednesday night Race 4 Real off-street meets continue to be one of the most popular events on the Sydney Dragway calendar and it’s quite easy to see why!
Here are some great performances from last week’s Race 4 Real at Sydney Dragway.
Top Holden of the Week
This bright yellow VH Commodore looked like it was built for one thing and one thing only – outright speed. With a best time of 10.43 @ 131.43 MPH it most definitely fulfils that purpose, and then some. Those plates don’t lie!
Top Japanese of the Week
Packing a rotary under its bonnet, this Mazda 323 is the epitome of a sleeper. Running a best time of 12.61 @ 120.38 MPH, it was bound to surprise more than a few people as it tore up the strip.
Top Rotary of the Week
Capable of cracking into the eights and holding the honour of being #1 on the Street Outlaw list for Grudge Kings, it’s safe to say that this green RX3 is pretty well known around these parts. Needless to say, Pac Racing knows how to build mental rotaries, with this particular RX3 running a 20B!
Top Ford of the Week
It’s great to see these brand-new Mustangs popping up here at Sydney Dragway, with them sure to become a staple on the quarter mile as more and more of them hit our roads. This blue example ran a best time of 13.51 @ 111.72, showing just how capable these machines are.
Commentator’s Pick of the Week
An absolute monster of a sleeper, this FG Falcon Ute ran blisteringly quick times all night long and managed to break into nines with a best run of 9.95 @ 141.12! Apart from those drag radials, there’s nothing that would lead you to believe that this ute possessed such an amazing level of performance.
Race 4 Real is on every Wednesday night at Sydney Dragway, weather permitting. Keep it safe, legal and off the streets! Gates open at 4:30PM and racing starts at 6:00PM. Check our website for T&C’s and entry information.
