WH statesman 5.7 LS1 going turbo

Hello all, im new to the forum so please bare with me, im going turbo with my ls1 so im looking for the most information i can. Im currently looking for what brand/size turbo to go for. And what i can get away with in terms of going abit on the cheap side were i can if possible. Anyone on here been down this road and can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Holset is the best bang for buck in my opinion. Unsure on sizing for LS as my motors bigger but I'd assume a hx50/52 will get the job done.
