I need to purchase a new wh statesman electric aerial but there are many aftermarket ones around way cheaper than the factory part has anyone here bought an aftermarket one that works the same as the original IE goes up on power/down with cd playing and is adjustable manually?

That's the way to go...just there are so many options out there and with Holden shutting down options are going to get fewer and fewer as time goes on. I try to avoid cheap sh@t from china every time

All well and good but genuine new aerials have dried up and even good used ones are getting hard to find. The working used ones are still better than the new aftermarket.

The factory ones weren't that great anyway.
Just go with an aerpro

If you have an aftermarket stereo then can use a standard one that lowers when the headunit cuts the signal. If you have a factory headunit with the height adjuster, then you need one that states "suit height adjuster"
