Well if it was my 40 grand....I'd keep the Statie & buy the Mrs something for 10 grand..probably a VT sedan..Then take the Mrs & kids on a holiday for 10 grand...keep 20 grand for misc..Bugger spending 40 grand on a new car which deflates in value as the days go by....Just my thoughts..

I'm 27 and Rating 1 in a low theft suburb using a mult-policy discount. It must be a Victorian thing as all insurance companies are around the same price. Is it possible Victorians are subsidising not only roads in other states but insurance as well?

I ended up buying a WHII V8 Stato in April 2005. A year down the track I know I'm happy to say I've chosen the right car.
