Have a look at the 2008 GMC Denali concept ( built by Holden, could have been a Crewman), and now the 2021 GMC Hummer EV.

IKR saddens me to think about it,maybe they would still be around today......If only the GFC never happened

Yes,the GFC hit GM hard worldwide,they were trying to offload Opal at the time but the German Govt. was putting up roadblock after roadblock. They then poured tens(hundreds?) of millions of US$ into Opal to try and revive it only to sell(give more likely) it 10years later,what a mess.
GFC didn't affect Ford as much as GM,must be a lesson there somewhere.
