Seems like the VYs VZs dont get much love or do they? Share with us your latest task on your beloved....

Me personally... a 90yo granny decided she try to park as close as she could to my rear bumper and her number plate scratched up all the paint on the bar grrr

they're pretty old now and most people don't care about them too much, they make good first cars or a reliable daily. But on the other hand some people pour heaps of money into them because its their car and they love it.

There are ‘old’ cars, and there are ‘olde’ cars.
‘Old’ cars are full of Maccas rubbish inside, scratched and dented body panels, mismatched wheels, with dodgy modifications.
‘Olde’ cars are well presented, maintained, becoming rare, and a potential collectable, (not GTHO variety $$$). I prefer to think of my cars as ‘olde’.
Right, I’m off to polish the insides of my tyres.

I'm going to do a lot to my VZ once I have the time but the main thing that needs to be done is the brakes

Mine is in excellent condition and is in the 'olde' variety. Today I changed the air cleaner element. By the end of the week I will change the front brake pads. I think 84,000k's out of a set of genuine pads is decent enough.

Something simple yesterday, just replaced my rear resonator hanger rubber.
Was banging around for a couple of days, nice and quiet (rattle wise ) now.

Put new speakers in the front door today

280watts or something. They turned out to be crappy. My rears are 400watts or something but these front cant produce any base or beefy thudding sound crap and vacant. Kinda prefer the stock speakers i think

Whilst there i did put new foam strips around my door air con vents tho. Sealed up air flow more power from my vents now
