What does OTR sound like?

I'm thinking of getting OTR, just wondering what change to the engine sound it makes? I guess most people do OTR with exhaust mods too, I just wondered about OTR by itself?

With a tune and OTR,you will notice louder exhaust note at WOT.

it just make the induction noise louder depending on the type and increases the airflow making a bit more power, it doesn't affect exhaust note in the slightest.

Might as well just get it done as part of a tuning packaging.

Actually it does affect the exhaust noise. Did on mine anyway.

The induction noise with an OTR at full throttle is quite noticeable, though I wouldn't be putting one on just for the noise

hahaha, I bought a bigger exhaust purely for noises.

OTR (VCM) and tune made a very noticible difference on my old VE SSV
The low frequency pulses that are captured by the baffles in the stock airbox go straight out the front so definitely a bit of a V8 grumble at the front to go with the exhaust grumble at the back.
Its those pulses that the VF II LS3 pipe from the airbox into the cabin with their "sound enhancer"
The sound is nice but the improvement in throttle responce etc is what its all about so once my new VF II Redine has around 5000km on the clock I will be doing the VCM OTR and tune on that one as well.

All mine make a sound like they are sucking air.
