You telling me the HSV's don't have a boot liner?? cost cutting extreme here. I just asked for a boot liner standard on Calais. It is good for all the airbags to be standard, but fark they wont help me! Just me in the car! the standard 2 in the front will do me. :whistling

When you say bootliner what do you mean? mine has the carpet on the floor and sides which you lift up for the spare..
The battery/amp is hidden behind the same carpet panels..

Can you take a pic of your boot and show me what you are getting ?

I want some soundproofing under the spare or a rubber liner prehaps ?

Something else in the rear suspension was changed. IT went from adjustable to a ball joint i think. Can't remember much. I herd the story when HSV done the W427 they stocked piled the older cars with it before the change. Helps the Wagon they might have said.

they also have different bcm/ecu to the original ones to, to overcome some of the gremlins, calais lost fe2 and went back to standard height in my08, dash trim is different in the my09,

and the p bracket was removed in the rear suspension to erradicate alignment problems

Hi Aggro,
Thanks for the pic.. yeah i do have one of those i just didn't notice it.
I am after a lining to go in the spare wheel well, to sound proof it a bit more than just the plastic tub...

also do you have a glove box & centre console light ?

Noticed that some Calais have different storage bins. e.g. they will be fixed at the front and adjustable at the back or fixed all round or adjustable all round. I’m guessing they are all fixed on the latest ones. Also it seems something is missing in the engine bay but I don’t know what, maybe some plastic garnish around the edges like it was in the VZ or am I thing of a VZ?????
