What oil do vy drivers tend to use

I'm currently running 0W-50. Car loves it and doesn't burn engine oil. The shift was from 10W-50 (or 5W-40 [i can't exactly remember]) and the engine felt a lot smoother with the 0W-50.

Hey guys, the old girl is at 291,000k, what grade of oil should i be using, should it be thicker?

Just my opinion but with virtually 300,000k on the clock I would be looking at 20w50, especially if it's burning oil. Currently, my VY V6 has 158,000k on it and I have been using ac delco 15w40 for the last 30,000k or thereabouts. It generally uses about 300 mls of top up oil in between services. I use the 10,000k or 6 months (whichever comes first) formula for oil changes and I have only got near the 10,000k once since I've had it (bought it with 97,000k on it).
