I'm looking at purchasing a tablet which will be used in the car for media playback, gps and OBDII using one of the android apps e.g. Dash Command. What is the minimum size display I will need for ODBII so that its still readable?

Would a Nexus 7 be enough with a 7" screen?

27" for me, depends on your eyesight where its located, and how many gauges you cram into the screen. Using stock Tuxedo 3.0.1 an iPhone plus size is ok.

Suggest that you get only a Wireless connection (dongle) if using an iPad. Apple use a slightly different version of Bluetooth and generally 'off the shelf' Bluetooth devise will not function with an Apple device. Good luck.

I've got the dongle already which I've tested with my phone and it works great, just the display on the phone is way too small and I'll be using android as that is what my phone is.
