Just another fool who thought getting a full exhaust would be "enough".

What other power mods could I do to my daily SS to get a bit more of a kick out of it?

I've got a full Xforce system (1&3/4, 2.5" catback) and a VCM OTR. The car is currently sitting at 266rwkw. What can I do for around $3k give or take, to get some more power?

As above diff gears do make a good bit of difference in pickup etc even tho you won’t physically gain any more power it sure does feel like it

Tune will make the most noticeable difference if you haven't done that yet.

Diff gears gets another vote from me.
I would guess it has been tuned already, 266 at the wheels is in the zone for those mods with a tune but if for some reason it’s not then tune too!!
Spending other people’s money is easy hey fellas!!

A new diff with a true trac centre will probably take every cent of your budget and then some.

Truetrac and gears should come in under the $3k budget.
$1375 for the Truetrac from Harrop, you may find a better price though.
$500ish for brand new gears, labour and parts to fit at a guess, max would be $800 I would think based on recent experience (ok vr304, experiences ;)).
