Maybe buy a share in a small successful company/business and make some cash on that

So true mate, I just did my tax this week and the few grand of interest my house deposit earned pushed me into the next highest HECS repayment bracket. So I ended up owing Mr Swan $1700 more of my dollars to give to people who don't work
