wheel fitment help please

looking at getting a new set of wheels for my vs calais, but dont know if the offset and width will be a problem.. 18x8 on front and 18x9.5 on rear..
18x8 is a 40 offset and the 18x9.5 is a 35 offset.. is this going to work?

It's probably a bit too low for a VS you'd be better off with +45 on the front and +48 on the rear

Have to agree with VY. i have 235 45 17 on the fronts with +40 rims. Went to put the rears 245 45 17 +40 on the front and the strut said no.

what about a 19 x 8.5 with a +45 front and rear, would that work?
