VE Phantom Black Ute MY10 M6
Hey guys, I'm looking at getting new wheels for my phantom ute and am tossing up between these two. 20 x 8.5.

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/57562887/wheels.jpg

The one on the left is a Bboss Trinity and the one on the right is a Versus Affliction Titanium. I'm leaning towards the trinity.

My question is, are there and advantages / disadvantages between a dish and spoked wheel, I've heard dish wheels are stronger, is this true?

Thanks

Dunno, but if you're only getting 8.5's on the rear, I wouldn't bother with a "dish".

A dish only looks good when it's nice and deep IMO...

Agreed. Trinity looks way better. But PLEASE fill those guards! Nothing looks worse then **** fitment. Unless thats just me and my love affair with wide wheels that stick out past the guards. Even better when the tyre has been stretched and you get that sexy bead of rim poking out...

I'd go the deep dish.....looks much sexier. I have them in 8.5 (Stamford Wheels) all round, don't mind the look.

Simple answer.

If you intend to do big brakes you cant do dish on the VE. I had SSW phantoms on mine and loved them but had to sell them due to pending brake upgrade. That said, I love these concave rims I have now
