Booked in for a CT scan of my no 6 and 8 rib on 14th July as the hip scan showed 2 issues there that need to be cleared.

The hip issue is said to be a bone island and if no change will be left alone.

Now the ribs.... need some luck now. Double 6 thanks.

It's now been a week since my ribs being scanned and no call from the doctors - if it was serious they would have called already (I hope) so maybe I am just fighting cancer on one front for now. It has been 5 health scares in a row one after the other for the past 3 months and not much fun at all.

When you live life just one bad news scan away - it can put you on edge 24/7.

I feel hope for the first time in a while that things may just be ok. What will be will be.

So a new year starts with me 4 weeks post op and dealing with all the side effects of the removal of the prostate.

They took 3 lymph nodes from my left side to test ad the resalts came back clear on them, but the prostate had a large volume of cancer and so they are making me wait until late Feb for my blood test to see if my PSA level has dropped to Zero. If it's above 0.02 in Feb I start the next lot of treatment to tackle the other secondary cancer somewhere in my body.

So not in remission just yet.

Other news was divorce is final on the 14th December - Yeah!!

I also found some work at Ultra Fast Karts making go kart parts for the next 6 months before I leave Australia's shores for a few years. Going to take up an offer to go live in Phoenix Arizona or New Mexico.

So once I get over the "pissing my pants all day" part I can maybe relax a little and take on some life head on.
