where are immobilisers installed?

I have a 84 vk which has had an aftermarket immobiliser installed from marlows in 1997. I need to find out roughly where its installed. Are there any popular locations? Thanks.

umm, hopefully where a theif wont look. try under steering wheel area.

i always wanted to mount the imob on the parsel shelf. i always liked that idea. have other thought about that?

Try up above the removable fuse panel on the drivers side. Sometimes they are sitting on top of the air vent pipe.

Garfa...in late model Saturns you find thet anti-theft device located in the boot.

my old vk's immobiliser was under the h/u behind the plastic mould..
