how would those ones on ebay work? the hsv ones look like they are separate pieces, but the exec/ss are all one bit

Eh I dunno... All I've seen in kits so far is complete fronts...

Maybe it needs an original bar ?

The originals were plastic weren't they ?

This is a far out kit.. can't say l like it though.

Back on topic, You can't fit a senator/clubby grille to yours without any major modifcation of your standard front bar. Have you considered the manta grille, heres a photo of my car:
