For a tech 2, you want card 148 if possible because that does 1997-2013 where 142 only does 1997-2012, 139 only does 1999-2012 etc etc

148 covers the most from what i've seen.

Unless you have a VE, no biggy. I have version 142 and the latest 152 (or 153?) but theres almost no difference to the older versions. Anything to do with the VF's will be done using a MDI module and TIS2web plus few other bits and pieces.

yea i ment if people are gonna go buy one now they might as well get the one with 148 and have the lot right off the bat.

Check out Amazon Innova scan tool with abs /srs for a couple of hundred suits chevy so should be ok for the Generals aussie cousin

Dash command and the one in the post above are going to work but next to useless for anything that will solves the problems recoded.

Topdon Artidiag 800BT, Vident i400au, Tech2 clone are the best options at affordable prices. Many used to use an Autel model that did a bit. There are plenty of ones better still.
