Which Oil, Coolant Etc Do You Use

just a general thread to see what oil and coolants etc everyone uses....
At the moment im using Penrite HPR 30 and the coolant is the one the mechanic put in at last service so im not quite sure

ive got whatever holden put in em when you get a service done.

hey gobbles, when you installed the K & N filter, did you really notice any difference? i saw one of those things that they have set up with the ball in the tube and the air filter...? you know the ones how you can compare the air filters? it seemed that the K & N really did work.

alrighty....
oil, im using Penrite HPR15
coolant, not sure whats in there now, but soon im gonna flush it all out n put some new castrol radicool in..
transmission has castrol dex III
brake fluid, not sure, same deal as the coolant, not sure what brand ill be putting in yet, but it will be dot 4
power steering, not sure, n im not sure if im gonna drain that 2... is it hard? dex II i think is in there
using all ryco filters - fuel n oil
n for air, got a K&N panel filter!

Castrol gtx2 (engine nearly 200 k) castrol concentrated coolant mixed to equal amount of distilled water with pellets Ryco oil and air filters dow corning long life silicone brake fluid and qfm brake pads Castrol dexron 3 gearbox and power steering oil Castrol ep 80/90 diff oil.

Well, engine lube is Castrol GTX 2, with a ryco filter

Coolant is Nylon, realy good **** !

Air filter is K&N panel

Brake fluid is shell hi temp / hi perf.

i didnt notice a difference....though when i put the new filter in you can sort of see it running alot smoother...
