i had some Dunlop SP Sport 3000a on my car 235/40/R18 and they had great grip and traction and were great in the wet (only for 80% of the tyres life) but they have only JUST lasted around 1 year and cant justify paying $250 per tyre if they only last that long so i have bought some Kumho Ecsta asx on there now and they have a better grip and tread life rating then what my dunlops had

Cheers guys. Im deciding on either the TOYO TEO $215 a tyre or the Michelin Pilot Sport 3 at $250 a tyre. Will be booking the car in for Sat morning.
Thanks for all the comments its been real helpful.

Car is booked in for tyres tomorrow morning. Michelin Pilot Sport 3, a little more expensive at $250 each but seem to be a great tyre by the reviews I have read. Will run them for a few weeks and give some feedback for the thread. thanks all

i've done 20 k on them and have very little wear they

have great grip on them

$100 per tyre it's a bargain

Don't touch Nankang NSII imo, its the most awful tyre i've ever used (i've used a fair few) for a budget i'd go Federal 595 SS for sure, at $141 for the 235/40R18 its awesome.

Well the Michelins are on the car. Still need to rack up some KM to comment more, however after a short drive today these do stick to the road like no other tyre ive run on the car before. Very happy.
