Hi guys I have changed the wheel bearings on the rear of my sons car vs spac live axle abs there was a diff noise that started at 40 km per hr and seemed to go away at 60 km per hr I believe it was a diff noise because you could make the noise come in and out by changing accelerator speed, at 60 km per hour another noise came in that I thought was wheel bearing so changed them . have done about 1000 km noise worse pulled axles again and found spacer ring between back of wheel bearing and seal had worn down badly on left side ok on right side. presume oil didnt get to bearing fast enough and damaged back of bearing and spacer .Does this sound right also noticed that cones that fit into axle housing are able to be removed by hand almost came out with the axle . This doesnt sound right hope I dont have to buy another axle housing .Thanks for any opinions or advice.
