ive heard from someone that if you stuck a whistle in your are intake or in your exhaust it would sorta sound like a turbo or supercharger spooling up or something, anyone heard of this or done it?

I saw a news report from america where the local exhaust shop had been fittinging whistle's into the end of exhausts and the noise they made was god awfull, so very loud and high pitched. unfortunately a good percentage of the people around the area had them installed. few weeks later they change some rule and they were banned.

I also know of someone who added a peice of bike tubing to the end of there blow off valve so when it went of it made a fart noise... image a giant whoope cushion.

that was entertaining for a day or two

a friend of mine has a train whistle on his gti-r blow off valve. sounds different. not my cup of tea though....
