Who bought the 67,000Km Calais at Pickles today ?

Just wondering who bought the 67,000km Sherbrook Green VS Series II Calais from the Pickles damaged vehicle auction today ?

I was going to buy it but it just went for way more than I was prepared to pay for it considering the small amount of bits I wanted from it for my Calais.

Just wondering if the purchaser is on this forum and if so if they are prepared to sell a few bits along the way to help pay for it.

Didn't buy it but interested to know what it sold for?

I picked up a series II V8 over Christmas and are in the same boat trying to source a few things for it.

It sold for $1,600 plus fees so will make it around $1800 and then transport on top so I felt that was a bit over the top for a vehicle that's been fitted with LPG from day one as I've always found that Ecotecs don't fair well running on LPG. Petrol only engines seem to be far better in the long term, thus why I bought that Acclaim wagon with 98,000K's on it for only $400.
