hey all why doesnt my thermo fan turn on when i press the air con button in my vs calais??

because a thermo fan is supposed to only turn on once the engine has reached a certain temperature (eg 1/2 way on the temp guage) to cool it down... its not button operated ALTHOUGH you can edit it to be so..

It works like this with standard air-con. I believe that climate control will control it differently.

Mine turns on wheni hit the a/c button

the fan will always operate with the a/c on

does the a/c actualy work? check that the compressor is kicking in mate

Umm, WRONG! If you have a service manual.... READ IT!

The interior fan also has to be turned on for the AC to operate, which should start your cooling fan.

the engine fan cuts in at 3/4 but when i hit the a/c button on the climate control and turn the temp to as cold as possible the air con compressor doesnt kick in i dont think but i know for sure the engine fan doesnt kick in when i turn the a/c on
