my old man just emailed me this and its wierd, i cant figger it out how it works http://www.milaadesign.com/wizardy.html
omfg!!!!!!!!! what the hell??? this stuff scares the hell out of me...does anyone know HTML code, look up the source code and tell us how it computes it!!!
although the icon changes each time u do it, that ion appears in the same position every time. e.g. 38 - 11 = 27 43 - 7 =36 91 - 10 =81 92-11 = 81 hence the same symbol occurs at no.s 27 36 81 etc. note that different numbers (91, 92) have teh same result as for each increment, the number to be subtracted goes up by the same amount... simple maths guys
ahh ok my mate explained it...whenever u have a two digit number and take its sum away from itself u end up with a multiple of nine...now check the board thing, there are only nine different symbols, repeated every nine places, just mixed up...so it works on the offset of the each set of numbers. the fact that it only gives u 10 seconds and tells u to focus on ur number also draws ur attention away from the fact that they repeat...hope it kinda makes sense, i still cant grasp how they figured it out.
False, 3 is a factor of 9. Cool trick though, much more fun than that whole "chocolate knows your age" thing that I keep getting in my email.
