Depends on how many coats, but 1 per wheel should be fine.
Just did mine

I'd say 2 or 3 for all 4 wheels should be enough. The more layers you put on the easier it'll be to peel off.

1 Can per wheel is more than enough. That's already 4 cans @ $30 a can = $120

You add anymore cans and you might as well respray your wheels every time you want a color change.

I got mine off ebay for half that price.

Still expensive for something that looks terrible, No offence.

You can't honestly look at your wheels and go "Oh my, Those untreated tires and that plastidip really hits the nail on the head of perfection"

I like it and the OP must do too or he wouldn't have asked.
Its a reasonable trade off for those of us that can't afford 1k+ for new wheels.

Plastidipped my ve ssv redline rims yesterday..
The cans were absolute **** to use.. Had them in hot water, in front a of a heater aswell.... Got the job done but took a while. Clogged about 20 caps on the way too.
Used plastidip before on a 25degree sunny day and worked like a charm though..
Had 19" rims and I would say I used a little over 3 tins.. That was with 3 coats on the face and one heavy coat on the back (when you see through the rim so it's not chrome)
