will a holden 5 litre take 11 PSI boost at 10:1 compression ?

Can someone please tell me if a holden 5 litre 304 out of a VS take 11 PSI boost at 10:1 compression or will the supercharger do damage , or get damaged , thanx in advance

It's really not that simple to say yes or no, too many variables. Sit down and discus it with your tuner.

i was inquiring about this for my son actually as he is a diesel mechanic by trade & his head is telling him it will do damage if he runs 10:1 compression ratio , as the standard ration is normally 8:1 ratio , but he was wondering if someone has already tried this with success , or if it resulted in failure ,, , but thanks for the response though :)

the blower that is on the vehicle is a centrifugal

Depends on the fuel used, cam specs, head setup, etc, etc, etc.
Speak to the tuner.

you can run a cometic head gasket just to get it lower if the 10:1 is borderline...running the cometic should take it to 9.8:1
