Hey matey,

The OAX801 is a subwoofer amp, not for speakers.

The TS-A1674S speakers are rated for 35RMS so they dont need much power.

In the option audio range you can pickup the OAK75 4 channel speaker amp which is what you need for speakers, its only $120 brand new.

the OAK75 puts out 75RMS x 4 to each speaker, this will be more than enough power for those speakers.

My friend has one of these in his car, It has never had a problem, it is very compact aswell "252.5 x 140 x 54 mm"

Cheers,

Justin

Bugger. I just had it lying around after my sub blew. Might just buy a new sub.
What kind of sub specs should I be looking at? Also is this amp any good or is it just average?
Thanks again.

Option Audio is an entry level brand, nothing wrong with it though.
That amplifier is 1ohm stable, so you could use any sub with a final load of 1ohm or 2ohms. At 1ohm your amplifier makes the most power, so I'd be looking for something with dual 2ohm voice coils, wired to 1ohm. How much are you looking at spending? There are some nice Pioneer subs for less than $200, then you need an enclosure for it.

Not sure yet, birthday is in 10 days so my bro is buying it. Already have a 12" box from my old sub.
Cheers mate, think I know what to look for now.

Prefab boxes aren't the best, you're better off building a box which suits your sub.. All subs are different and have different specifications, which means they need different enclosures.
