Will these spline wheel nuts be a safe replacement for oem wheel nuts?

There isn't as much flare as oem but they still have enough to hold the wheels in place, just figured I'd double check and see if anyone else has used em?

Cheers

Are they 14mm, will they screw on a VE wheel stud?

They aren't ideal. Aftermarket wheels will have more meat behind the taper.

yeah they screw on and don't fit through the stud hole in the wheel at all

Fair enough, what sort of dangers are possible? Is it possible for the nuts to sorta pull through the taper in the stud hole?

Took pictures of em on the wheels, definitely not as much contact as OEM but they do hold the wheels on centered to the studs.. also had to give em more of a turn with the breaker bar when tightening

If you hit a pothole hard enough it may be possible to crack the wheel.

I just bought a set of locknuts the same. Came with wheel nuts too. Still a good price. The VZ nut has far more surface area contacting the wheel. I figure might be fine for the lock nuts to be a bit of a smaller surface area.

They look better suited to a 12mm stud.
