This is the 3rd time I have been stung by Wilson Parking, are these guys a bunch of crooks or what? Clearly in my mind out to make a quick buck but here we go with the latest one.

Clocked in at the car park here in Adelaide shortly after 6:30AM using my credit card as I have done in the past for Early Bird parking, exited the car park @ 4:02PM and to my shock $29.36 instead of the expected $17.

I thought oh well bit unexpected I'll lodge a claim as it must be a mistake, last time granted they did a refund I left too early which makes no sense considering I'm freeing up a park but that's beside the point I should have gone over their terms and conditions of the early bird parking.

Went about lodging a claim on their website to which they eventually replied with early bird parking has been discontinued, in future use the app or book on our website.

When on earth did this change?

Yes they are! Who else charges people around $50 a day to provide nothing of actual value other than a spot to park a car in. They must make more money than a drug dealer, and with a higher profit margin too!

End Rant.

A lot of the time they are just a services company (although not a very good one) to people/companies who actually own the car parks - i.e. they don't own and operate and probably don't set the prices or early bird rates (but I'm guessing they take a huuuge cut), they just provide the equipment and services that do.

It's not uncommon in metropolitan Sydney (places like Pyrmont etc...) and Melbourne to see places like this where the daily rate is $80+.

A joke is been kind. Bloody scam artists!

I refuse to park in any facility run by Wilson parking.

Whenever I have to pop into our city branch the only parking available is $60!

Glad I'm not paying for it.

$55 a week for a bus trip to and from work....Geez it costs me $30 per week to drive to and from work....This makes my drive to work even better and I get an extra bit of time to sleep in to boot

I am glad I don't have to go into the city...I used to have to park in a wilsons carpark as it was closest to a specialist I had to see once a couple of times a year...From memory it set me back $10 or so for an hours parking....All the road side parking spots were always taken too....

Luckily now, the specialist has moved closer to home, so I get free parking now....

The Bus
Costs me $72 a week, on the bus, and yeah have to leave an hour earlier sometimes as certain drivers run late depending who is on. Then I get home over an hour later than I would if I was driving. I'm still paying for my parking spot as they rarely come up, and to lose it means you could be waiting over year to get another. Fortunately I pay under $5 a day for my car park.
