Just don't put it in the reservoir first.
Put the water in first, then the Bar's, otherwise it will foam up too much.
The movement of the car is enough to mix it through.

and if your totally useless , they sell pre-mixed bars-bugs as well . But only if you are useless or lazy .

Servo's, Autobarn, Super Cheap, etc.
Coles might even have it.

I find that ajax and other house hold cleaners are sometimes too foamy and possibly leave a strange residue,

BUT; Still work

Why use all that costly stuff when good old tap water with a cap of metho does the job.
Been using it for years.

On another note I had an AU Falcon for a while and the Ford service people used their own windscreen wash which sent the bonnet yellow and they had to respray it for free.

Because the amount of metho you'd need for some of the **** my windscreen sees would kill rubbers and eat paint. Bars smashes it and then some. Safely.

I wouldn't use anything that wasn't recommended for use on a motor vehicle. Household cleaners are usually only for inside domestic use (as stated on label).
