is it possible to remove a windscreen from one vehicle and have it installed in another?

I'd say yes, however it's best to get new as anything second hand is sand blasted.

Since these ones are stuck in with urethane, it’s not easy to get them out without damage.

I paid 230 to have a new one fitted last week with a new mold - mainly due to sandblasting.

Do it once. Do it right.

Why would you have full Comp on a VS when they are worth bugger all at the moment ?

Maybe in 10 years time yes, but not now. You'd pay more in premiums than what the vehicle is worth.

Third Party Property yes, but full comp ..............No, Unless it's a HSV or something special V8 orientated.

$34 a month, if I had third party property it would still be $25 a month. Mine is insured for $3,300.

Dude off gumtree did mine last year remove/replace with new screen & mould + painted black protective crap $140

It wasn't genuine brand, slight differences to cracked original which didn't bother me.

Not worth the hassle in labour cleaning mess up or if you break windscreen....
