windsheild vent stuck open

Hi
has any had a problem with the direction flow switch on VZ it contiually blows on the wind screen even when I turn the knob to other positions.

Sounds like a classic case of no/low vacuum to the HVAC actuators. Check the vacuum system for leaks - simple checks include the security of the vacuum connections to the engine manifold vacuum take off point, one way valve, the vacuum reservoir or the vacuum solenoid pack (climate control HVAC only).

If no fault found, then one or more of the vacuum actuators could be leaking, or the selector valve may be leaking (manual HVAC only).

Drivers side rear of the manifold. Take the engine cover off. There is a small vac hose that usually comes off.
