Wiring up monster tacho shift light?

How would you on a v8 efi 5.0ltr into a vs ss if makes a difference??

Just the light? Doesnt it hook into the tach???

goes to the neg-ve side of the coil wire, there actually should be a tacho wire in the engine loom, passanger side of the strut tower there should be a little plug from a brown wire from memory.

Do the efi 5ltrs have the old style coils not like the v6.
I heard bout the brown wire in the engine bay with the v6 never worked on the v6 though.

Yeah ive had a look for it, but was unsucessful in my find it must be hard to get at?

the brown wire you need should come out of the ignition module mounted just in front of the passenger strut tower in the engine bay.

either splice in there or trace it further up the loom and do it

You should also be able to pick up the signal under the dash but its a solid brown wire on the right hand side of your fuses. Yould should find it in a loom connector i think theres more than one brown wire though. Try it if you cant get the pickup from the brown/white trace wire.
