wl statesman center dash lcd no longer working with a/c or radio

New to just ccommodores hoping there's an answer for this one, I had an aftermarket head unit touch screen sony xav-63 xpload which has fried itself while listening to music and since then the center dash lcd screen isn't displaying the air conditioners settings temperature or anything the air con comes on but wont display on the screen. I reinstalled the old head unit which works fine but is also not linking with the lcd screen. All fuses are fine so not sure what would cause this, also the fuse on the touch screen head unit wasn't blown but all that worked on it was eject cd. cheers for any help
