can I change over my HID headlight assembly to a statesman H7 headlight assembly , I understand the lighting isn’t as good however sick of paying big $ for globes and ballast only to have moisture wreck the ballast

Buy the globes and ballast from the USA, should be cheaper than from the local stealership.

Maybe you should be hammering Holden if there is an inherent moisture issue which kills the globes and ballast as HID lamps should last a long long time.

You’ll loose the headlight washers as the H7 assemblies don’t have the space to keep them and the wiring loom is different so that needs consideration. But should you desire, it’s possible to change them as the HIDs were an option on the WM and compliancing has been done for both the H7 and HID assemblies for your model variant.

My WM Caprice has normal headlights so like skylarking said, this is possible.
